Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Basis Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Basis administration, along with strong technical skills in various operating systems and database management. This role is critical for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of our SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain SAP Basis systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
Administer and support various operating systems, including Windows, Linux/Unix, and Solaris.
Oversee database management for Oracle, MaxDB, MS SQL, and SAP HANA environments.
Implement and maintain High Availability Cluster configurations to ensure system uptime.
Develop and execute disaster recovery plans to safeguard data and system integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain knowledge continuity.
Provide technical support and training to end-users as required.
Qualifications:
Strong expertise in SAP Basis administration.
Proficiency in Windows, Linux/Unix, and Solaris operating systems.
Extensive experience managing databases, including Oracle, MaxDB, MS SQL, and SAP HANA.
Knowledge of High Availability Cluster implementation.
Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution.
Fluent English (mandatory), both written and verbal.
Minimum 5 years of SAP Basis experience (8 years preferred).
